TV playlists
Rotate one screen through TV menus, promotions, dashboards and tournament boards.
A TV playlist is a loop for one screen: your tap list for a minute, then a trivia-night promotion, then back. The playlist has its own display code; give the TV that code instead of a single menu's.
Taster includes 2 playlists. Brewhouse and Reserve have no limit.
Make a playlist
Name it
Open TV Playlists and click New playlist. Enter a Name, pick the Aspect ratio of the screen, and add an optional Description.
Add what plays
Under Playlist, add items in any mix:
Set times and order
Change each item's seconds (1 to 3,600). Drag items to reorder. Between items, pick a transition: Fade, Slide Left, Slide Right, Slide Up, Slide Down, Zoom, Flip or None. The last one, marked loop, plays on the way back to the start.
Save and show it
Click Create playlist. Copy its code from the Code column and enter it on the TV.
Change a playlist that's on the air
Click the playlist to edit it, then Update playlist. The TV picks up the change on its own; nobody has to touch it. To make a change at a set time, like adding a promotion for the weekend, use Menu scheduling.
A playlist with nothing in it shows Standing By with the playlist's name until you add something.
Check what's playing
The list shows for each playlist:
| Column | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| What plays | The menus, promotions and other items in it |
| The TV | On now if a TV showed it in the last few minutes, Last seen with a time, or Never opened |
| Loop | How long one full pass takes |
