QR codes
Make styled QR codes, download them for print, and place them on your TV menus, print menus and promotions.
QR codes keeps your brewery's codes in one place: the one on the table tent, the one on the bar TV, the Wi-Fi sign. Each code has a name, what it opens, and your colors. Every plan can make as many as it needs.
Make a QR code
Say what it opens
Open QR Codes and click New QR code. Give it a Name (where it'll be used works well) and fill in Content: a web address, or any text.
Style it
Under Style, pick the Foreground and Background colors (or turn on Transparent), the Margin around it, and the Error correction level: Low (7%), Medium (15%), Quartile (25%) or High (30%). Preview shows the result.
Save
Click Create QR code.
The Type column names what each code holds:
| Type | Content starts with |
|---|---|
| PintDeck page | A pintdeck.io address |
| Web link | Any other web address |
| Wi-Fi | WIFI: |
mailto: | |
| Phone | tel: |
| Text message | sms: |
| Plain text | Anything else |
Download it for print
From a code's actions, click Download PNG (1024 pixels square) or Download SVG (sharp at any size).
Put it on a menu or promotion
Add it in the studio
In the TV, print or promotion studio, click Add overlay, then QR code.
Pick the code
Choose one under Select QR Code, or click New QR Code to make one there. Move and size it like any overlay; Replace QR code swaps in another.
The Used on column shows every TV menu, print menu and promotion a code is on.
Editing a code you've already printed
Edit a code and every TV menu, print menu and promotion showing it follows. A downloaded PNG or SVG doesn't: the content is in the pattern itself, so a printed code keeps opening what it said when you downloaded it. Change the content, and download and print it again.
