Print menus
Lay out a printed menu, table tent or rack card from your sections and export it as a PDF.
A print menu is a printable page built from the same sections as your TVs. Lay it out once in the print studio, then export a fresh PDF whenever your list changes.

Each comes in Portrait or Landscape. Change either in the studio's top bar at any time.
Make a print menu
Pick a starting design
Open Print Menus and click New print menu. Pick a template under Official or My Templates, enter a Printout name, and click Create printout. It starts on Letter, Portrait. See Templates and themes.
Lay out the page
The print studio opens. In the rail on the left, each Row holds sections, text and images side by side. Add a section, Text or Image to a row, and use Add row for the next band down the page.
Export
Click Export PDF. The PDF opens in a new tab, ready to print or send.
Start blank in the first step opens the older printout editor instead: fill in Printout Name, Page Size and Orientation, click Create Printout, then Open in Studio at the top.
Lay out rows
Select a row to set its Row layout:
- Columns: how many columns the row has.
- Mode: Balance splits items across columns to keep them the same height, Distribute puts one section in each column, and Stack places sections top to bottom and moves on when a column is full.
- New page: start this row on a new page.
Row banner adds a heading across the top of a row. A row's menu has Move up, Move down and Delete row.
Select Page design for the whole page: background, padding, First page padding (room for a header on page one), and Repeat headers to repeat a section's header when it carries onto the next page. Typography, cards and status effects work as in the TV studio.
Overlays work as in the TV studio too, with one addition: Show on puts an overlay on the First, Every or Last page.
Print two per sheet
Half Letter and Tall Menu fit exactly two to a letter sheet. For those, Export PDF offers:
- Standard: one menu page per sheet, for sharing digitally.
- Print-efficient (2-up on letter): two copies on each letter sheet, to cut in half. The menu tells you where to cut and which edge to flip on for a two-sided menu.
From the Print Menus list, the same choices are Download PDF and Download PDF (2-up on letter).
Export again when the list changes
A PDF is a snapshot of your beers at the moment you export it. After a tap change, export a new one. Happy hour prices from Menu scheduling don't print; the PDF shows each beer's own price.
