Display codes

The 6-digit code that tells a screen which TV menu, playlist, promotion or dashboard to show.

Menu Builder › TV MenusEvery plan

Every TV menu, TV playlist, promotion and dashboard gets its own 6-digit display code when you make it. A screen shows whatever you give it the code for, and it keeps up with your changes on its own.

Each code is unique, so it always means one thing. Find it in the Code column of the list, and click it to copy.

Put a code on a Fire TV

Open the app

Open the PintDeck app on the Fire TV. It's free on the Amazon Appstore; see which Fire TV devices work.

Enter the code

Type the 6-digit code under Enter your 6-digit menu code and choose Load Menu.

Leave it

The board stays live. Changes you make in PintDeck show up on the screen without touching the TV again.

To switch codes, press Back on the remote. The code screen lists Recent Menus you've loaded on that TV.

Use any screen with a browser

A smart TV's own browser, or a computer plugged into the TV, works too. In the studio, click Open display and open that same link on the screen.

One screen, several things

A screen shows one code. To rotate menus, promotions and dashboards on one TV, put them in a TV playlist and give the screen the playlist's code.

The same code can be on more than one screen at once: put one menu on every TV in the taproom by entering its code on each.

Check a TV is showing your menu

The lists in PintDeck show on now when a TV has shown that menu or playlist in the last few minutes. For a playlist, The TV column says On now, Last seen with a time, or Never opened.

To check a new TV or its internet without showing a menu, enter 111111. The screen shows App is working and Internet connection active.
