PintDeck Business for iPhone

Signing in, the five tabs, search and scan, widgets, settings, and what the phone does that the web doesn't.

Every planPintDeck Business for iPhone

PintDeck Business for iPhone runs the taproom and cellar from your pocket, on the same brewery as the web dashboard. It needs iOS 26.2 or later.

The app signs in to an account you already have; it doesn't make new ones. A brewery signs up on the web, and Request a free trial at the bottom of the sign-in screen opens the website.

  • Sign in with Apple or Continue with Google work for an account PintDeck already knows. Otherwise the app says No PintDeck Business account uses that Apple ID. Sign in with your email, or create an account at business.pintdeck.io.
  • Sign in with email asks for your email and password.

There's no password reset in the app. Use Forgot password? on the web's sign-in page.

Switch breweries

Your brewery's name sits at the top left of every tab. Tap it to open You. The card at the top shows the brewery you're in, and if you belong to more than one, Switch lists them. Every tab reloads for the one you pick.

The tabs

TabWhat it's for
TodayWhat needs you, what's brewing and pouring, and the rest of today and tomorrow. The red number on the tab counts what needs you.
TapsEvery beer on a tap and the day it runs out, what's up next, and other drinks.
CellarTanks, kegs and stock, brew days, filling kegs and scanning.
MenusScreens, TV menus, promotions, print menus, lists and QR codes.
CalendarThe next seven days, and the places you plan from.

Today

Needs you lists what wants doing now, each with its button: a tap about to run out (Open), a tap that needs a Count or a Scan, an empty tap (Open), a tank that's ready (Package), a booking with no deposit yet (Open), and stock below its reorder point (Stock). When it's clear it says Nothing needs you.

Brewing shows brew days going now, today's and tomorrow's brews, cellar tasks that are due, and beers to brew soon. Then come On tap, Later today and Tomorrow. The chart button at the top opens This month: kegs kicked, what was poured and brewed, and the most poured beers.

Taps

On tap draws each beer as a bar from today to the day it runs out, like On hand on the web, sorted by Needs you first, Runs out first or Tap number. A row's Count records a reading; a kicked beer has Mark sold out, which shows it as sold out on your menus. Tap a row for the beer's page.

Up next lists tap changes you've planned and beers with full kegs that aren't pouring. Other drinks groups the rest by category, with prices. + adds a beer.

Cellar

  • Tanks: each fermenter and brite tank with what's in it and when it's ready, over a three-week strip of the tank schedule.
  • Kegs: Where your kegs are with Move kegs, kegs Out at accounts with Collect, then Every keg and Activity. See Move kegs.
  • Stock: each item and how many are left. See Stock.

The + menu has Fill kegs, New stock item, Plan a brew and Brew day. The QR button scans a keg.

Screens come first because they're live. Open one to see its pair code, Add a slide, change the order, or Take off this TV. A TV menu shows its preview and code, with Add to a screen; its layout is edited on the web. A print menu has Print and Share PDF. + makes a New list or a New QR code.

Calendar

The week, with chips to narrow it and + to add to it. Under Plan are Calendar (the whole month), Bookings, To-dos, Planned changes and Taste events. See The calendar.

Search and scan

There's no search tab. The field on Today, Search or scan anything, opens search over the tab you're on; Taps has a magnifier for it too. Search finds beers, kegs, other drinks, screens, TV menus, promotions, print menus, stock and bookings. Type three or more digits of a display code and the matching menus and screens come first, under Screen codes. With nothing typed, it lists your recent searches and every place in the app.

The QR button beside the field opens the scanner. See Scan kegs on iPhone.

Phone or web

Only on the phone:

  • Scanning kegs with the camera.
  • Taproom details: your hours and what your taproom is like, as Taste shows them.
  • Brew day alarms, the Live Activity and the Apple Watch.
  • Home Screen widgets, and reminders set up on the phone.

Only on the web:

  • Signing up, and resetting a password.
  • Laying out TV menus, promotions and print menus, and making a new screen.
  • Uploading your logo.
  • Your club, analytics, billing and team.

Widgets and the Live Activity

Four Home Screen widgets show your taps.

WidgetSizeWhat it shows
On tapSmall, mediumThe lineup. Fill is what's left in each keg, and a glow means it runs out inside three days.
Next to run outSmallThe beer that runs out first, and how many days it has.
TodayMediumHow many taps are Healthy, on Watch and Critical. Taps with no date are never counted healthy.
NowLargeThe taps that need a look, as rows.

Widgets show what the app last loaded and don't fetch anything on their own, so open the app to bring them up to date.

The Live Activity is for brew days: the step and its clock on the lock screen, with a button for what comes next. See Brew day on iPhone.

Apple Watch

The watch app installs with the iPhone app and signs in through it. It runs a brew day from your wrist, wherever the day was started. See Apple Watch.

Settings

Tap your brewery's name at the top left of any tab, or your initials at the top right of Today, to open You. It has your brewery's name and address, taproom details, the number of taps, the out-date forecast, reminders on this phone, and Sign out. Every row is covered in Settings on iPhone.

With no signal

  • If the app can't reach PintDeck when it opens, it keeps you signed in and says Can't reach PintDeck, with Try again (or Sign in again).
  • Changes to beers, other drinks, lists and to-dos show at once and save in the background. One that doesn't go through is put back, with a message such as Couldn't save this beer and Your change was reverted.
  • Brew days keep running and catch up when you're back. See Brew day on iPhone.
