How PintDeck fits together
How a beer you type in once ends up on your TVs, printed menus, website and Taste.
Platform › Data FlowEvery plan
You enter each beer once. Everything a customer sees is built from that one list, so a change made in one place shows up everywhere it's used. The Data Flow tab draws this as a map with your own counts in each box; click a box to go to that tab.
From your list to the wall
| Step | What it is | Where |
|---|---|---|
| What you enter | Your beers and alternative items: wine, food, merch. | Products |
| Grouped into | Sections: "On Tap", "Cans To Go". A section can pick its own beers by a rule, or hold the ones you choose. | Menu Builder › Sections |
| Built into | TV menus, print menus and web embeds, each laid out from your sections. | Menu Builder |
| Where customers see it | TVs, through a TV playlist or a menu's own display code, and the Taste app, where drinkers find your beers. | Menu Builder, Customers › Taste |
Changes on a date
Scheduling changes beers, menus, playlists and promotions on a day you set, so a release or a seasonal swap happens on its own.
What this means day to day
- Change a beer, not a menu. Fix a price or a description on the beer itself, and every TV, printed menu and embed that shows it follows.
- TVs update by themselves. A screen showing a menu picks up the change without anyone touching it. Printed menus need printing again.
- Sections decide what's on a menu. If a beer is missing from a TV, check the section it should be in before the menu.
