Members
Adding a member at the bar, finding someone on the Members list, a member's page and its tabs, marking members lapsed or left, and exporting the list.
Members is everyone who has joined your club, however they joined. Click a member to open their page: what they hold, what they pay, and what's happened lately. Anyone on your team can look; admins and the owner add and change members.
Add a member
Open Add a member
Click Add member at the top of the Overview or Members.
Name and a way to reach them
Name, then an Email or a Phone. One of the two is enough.
Pick their level
Level starts on your first level. Choose No level if you don't use them. On a paid level, record what they paid: see Levels and dues.
The rest is optional
Birthday is a month and a day, for a birthday perk. Notes is for you. Send them club emails is on unless they'd rather not hear from you.
Add them
Click Add member. They get the next member number, and any welcome perk lands straight away, so you can tell them while they're standing there.
Two members can't share an email: PintDeck says Someone with that email is already a member. A full club, or a plan at its member limit, says so too.
Find a member
Search by name, email, phone or number… finds anyone, by their own name or the name on their linked PintDeck Taste account. Status narrows the list to one status, such as Lapsed. + Filter filters on any column, and Presets saves a view you come back to, like Birthdays this month.
The list starts sorted by member number, with these columns:
| Column | Shows |
|---|---|
| Member | Their number, name and email or phone, with their Taste handle if their account is linked. |
| Level | Their level. |
| Status | Active, Lapsed or Left. |
| Joined | The day they joined. |
| Perks | How many perks they hold and haven't used. |
| Card | How far along their buy-ten card is, as 6 of 10. Only once you run one. |
| Dues | Card failed, when their last dues charge failed. Only when one has. |
Customize adds Number, Paid by, Renews, Email, Phone, Birthday, Taste account, Signed up (how they joined) and Notes, and has a Group by status switch. Lapsed members stay in the list on purpose: they're who a renewal reminder is for.
A member's page
Click a row. The top says their number, level, name and status, with four facts under it: Level, Perks waiting, Dues and Taste. The tabs:
| Tab | What's on it |
|---|---|
| Profile | Their details, to edit and Save changes. |
| Perks | Buy-ten card progress, what they hold under Available, and what's used, expired or taken back under History. Redeem from here. |
| Dues | How they pay, when they renew, and every charge. See Levels and dues. |
| Activity | Joined, perks handed out and redeemed, cards failing. |
| Taste | For a member linked to PintDeck Taste: visits, beers of yours tried, events and challenges, and their recent pours here. |
Give a perk hands them one on the spot: see Perks. The ⋯ menu has the rest.
Change a member's standing
From the ⋯ menu on their row or their page:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Mark lapsed | Stops them earning new perks. They keep what they hold. |
| Mark active | Brings back a lapsed or left member. |
| They left the club | Marks them Left. Their club emails stop and their birthday is cleared. They keep their number and history, and free up a spot under your cap. |
| Unlink Taste account | Removes the link to their PintDeck Taste account. Lists show the name and email you entered again, and their Taste activity leaves their page. |
| Delete record | Removes the member entirely. For a record made by mistake. |
The ⋯ menu on their page also has Send a message, to email only them from the club: see Email your members.
Members are also marked lapsed on their own, once their renewal date passes: see Levels and dues.
Delete record doesn't ask first
The record is gone as soon as you choose it. A member who has ever redeemed a perk can't be deleted, so the ledger stays whole: mark them as left instead.
Members linked to PintDeck Taste
A linked member shows their Taste name and email in your lists, with their @handle. What you typed is kept underneath: editing their Name changes your own record, which comes back if the link is ever removed.
Export the list
On Members, open ⋯ and choose Export members. You get a CSV with each member's number, name, contact details, birthday, level, status, when and how they joined, how they pay, perks waiting and used, card progress and whether they're linked to the app. Anyone on your team can export, any time.
