Your brewery's settings

The General tab of Settings, beer styles, AI images and the media library, and deleting or restoring a brewery.

Settings › GeneralName, address, taps and forecast on iPhone

The General tab is your brewery's profile and the defaults the rest of PintDeck works from. Admins and the owner change it. Everyone else on the team sees the values, with a line such as Only admins can change the address.

Name, logo and address

SettingWhat it's for
Organization NameYour brewery's name across PintDeck.
Company LogoPNG, JPG, GIF or WebP, up to 5 MB. It appears in emails and the dashboard. Upload one, or Choose from library to reuse an image you already have.
Brewery AddressSearch for the address and pick it from the list. It's shown to drinkers in PintDeck Taste.
HoursFills the hours line on a print template when you apply one.
Number of Taps1 to 999. Sets the tap numbers offered when you put a beer on tap.

Each one has its own Save. Email Preview, lower down, shows how your logo and name look at the top of the emails PintDeck sends for you.

The hours and details drinkers see on your Taste page are set separately, in the iPhone app. See Hours and taproom details.

Out dates and the burn rate

Three settings shape the date each beer runs out. See Why this date for how that date is worked out.

SettingWhat it does
Forecast TuningHow fast older pours stop counting: Aggressive (7 days), Balanced (30 days), Steady (90 days), or Custom (1 to 365 days). Click Save. Admins only.
Deliveries to accounts count toward the burn rateOn: a full keg delivered to an account counts as used. Off: a delivery lowers stock but not the pace. Applies to deliveries logged from then on. Admins only.
Burn rate breaksEvery break you've added, to search, edit or delete. See Burn rate breaks.

Brewing Settings sets the defaults the recipe editor uses for the whole brewery. A change saves as soon as you pick it.

Identifiers

Identifiers shows your brewery's Slug and Organization ID, each with a copy button. You can't change them. If you write to us for help, include the Organization ID.

Walkthrough and demo content

  • Restart walkthrough replays the quick tour of the menu-building tabs. It takes about a minute.
  • Remove demo content (admins and the owner) deletes the starter beers, alternative items, menu sections, TV menu and TV playlist a new brewery comes with. Only items tagged as demo go; your own data is untouched. It can't be undone.

Beer styles, AI images and media

These have their own tabs in Settings.

  • Beer styles sets the ABV, IBU, SRM, OG and FG ranges your brewery counts as normal for each style. See Beer styles.
  • AI images counts this month's AI image generations against your plan's cap: 50 a month on Reserve, starting over on the first of each month. On other plans the tab says it's a Reserve feature. Images you've made stay in your storage if you change plans.
  • Media holds every image used by a promotion, menu, embed, printout, beer or alternative item, under Uploaded and AI generated. Click one to see where it's Used in, Download it, or Delete it. Deleting asks first and clears the image from each place it's used: a background goes back to its color, and an image element or logo is removed.

Delete a brewery

Only the owner sees Delete this brewery, at the bottom of the General tab.

Cancel the subscription

In Billing, cancel first. Until you do, deleting says Cancel your subscription first. See Billing.

Delete it

Click Delete brewery, type the brewery's name exactly, and click Delete brewery again. If you've paid for time that hasn't run out yet, the dialog says through when; that time is forfeited and isn't refunded.

The brewery disappears right away, with its menus, beers, kegs, TV displays and scheduled changes, and its TVs say (your brewery) is no longer active. Everything is kept for 30 days, then permanently deleted.

30 days to change your mind

To bring a brewery back, open Settings from your picture at the bottom of the sidebar. Deleted breweries lists each one with the days left; click Restore. Only the owner can. After 30 days it's gone for good.

On iPhone

In PintDeck Business for iPhone, tap your brewery's name at the top left. Under Your brewery you can change the name and address, the number of taps and the out-date speed. A new logo is uploaded on the web. See Settings on iPhone.
