Your brewery on Taste
Claiming your brewery's page on PintDeck Taste, linking your beers to it, and reviewing the fixes drinkers suggest.
Your brewery may already have a page on Taste, from a public brewery directory or started by drinkers logging your beers. Claiming it makes it yours:
- Everything drinkers logged stays with the page.
- You draw the check-in area to fit your taproom.
- Your colors and logo go on every card.
- Fixes drinkers suggest to your page come to you first.
Only owners and admins can claim the page and manage it.
Claim your page
Open Overview
Go to Customers › Taste, Overview. The Your page on PintDeck card lists the pages that might be yours, with how far away each one is and how many people have logged beers there.
Pick yours
Under Is this you?, click This is us beside your brewery. A page marked Claimed belongs to another organization and can't be picked.
Or add your brewery
If none of them are you, look under None of these are us (or Add your brewery when nothing matched) and click Add … to PintDeck, which carries your brewery's name. PintDeck creates a page from your organization details and claims it for you.
Add your address first
The search uses your organization's name and location, and a new page takes its address from your organization. Without one, the card says No address on file and drinkers can't find you nearby. Add it in General settings.
Approved now, or reviewed by hand
| Your claim | What happens |
|---|---|
| From an organization with an active subscription | Approved at once, and your page is live. |
| Another listing has a different website on file | Checked by hand. |
| From an organization without an active subscription | Checked by hand. |
While a claim is being reviewed, the card says We're reviewing your claim and nothing is public. If a claim isn't approved, the card shows the reason and you can claim again.
Your beers on PintDeck
Once your page is yours, the card becomes Your beers on PintDeck: each of your active beers and where it stands on Taste.
| Status | Means |
|---|---|
| On PintDeck | On Taste and linked to your beer. |
| Retired | Taken off Taste after someone logged it, so its page stays up. |
| Match found | Drinkers already added a beer that looks like this one. |
| Not published | Not on Taste. |
Collectors is how many people hold the beer's card, and Check-ins how many times it's been logged. archive only beside the count means someone has logged it, so you can archive the beer but not delete it. Customize adds Suggested match, Style and ABV.
Each row has one action:
- Link, on a Match found row, joins your beer to the entry drinkers have been logging. Their cards and check-ins carry over to you.
- New publishes your beer as a separate entry instead. Use it only when the match isn't really your beer: two entries for one beer split its collectors.
- Publish puts a beer with no match on Taste.
- Unlink detaches your beer from its entry. Cards drinkers hold are untouched.
Link, New and Publish ask first. Click Make it public to go ahead, or Not yet.
Publish new beers automatically, at the top of the card, puts a beer on Taste when it goes on tap. Turning it on also publishes the beers pouring now. Beers marked coming soon are never published. To put one beer on or take it off from its own page, see Beers on PintDeck Taste.
Suggestions from drinkers
When drinkers suggest a fix to one of your beers, it waits for you above the beer list, under suggestions from drinkers: the beer, the field, the change and when it was suggested. ✓ applies it to your beer. ✕ dismisses it. The same suggestions show at the top of each beer's Overview.
